Photos To Be Taken of Properties Along River Affected by Proposed Floodwall
Notice was sent earlier this week to property owners along White River in Rocky Ripple that will be affected by the proposed Rocky Ripple Floodwall that a contractor for the City of Indianapolis DPW (Arcadis) will be taking photos of each affected property late this week and/or next week. Exact dates are weather dependent. The photos will be utilized for planning purposes being managed by the City and project team under contract by the City. There will be two to three team members taking the photos and should be easily identifiable by the vests they will be wearing. We wanted to provide you with this info in case you see them and want to know what they are doing. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

The June 9th Rocky Ripple Town Board meeting will be held at the town hall at the usual time (7:30 pm). If you plan to attend, please note that we ask that all attendees wear a face mask and practice social distancing while at the meeting. Thanks for helping us keep everyone safe.
City of Indianapolis Department of Business and Neighborhood Services to Attend March 10th Rocky Ripple Town Council Meeting to Answer Zoning/Permitting Questions
Donna Price from the City of Indianapolis Business and Neighborhood Services group will attend the Tuesday, March 10th Rocky Ripple Town Council Meeting to answer resident questions regarding zoning and permits. The question and answer session will start promptly at 7:30 pm, followed by routine Rocky Ripple Town Council business at no later than 8:30 pm. The session was set up so that Rocky Ripple residents can ask specific questions about building codes, permitting, requirements, and recent permits that have been issued in the town of Rocky Ripple. City County District 7 Councilor John Barth and City of Indianapolis Neighborhood Liaison Natalie Von Dongen are also scheduled to attend the March Town Council meeting.
If you are not be able to attend the March 10th Town Council meeting, but have a zoning or permitting question, please forward your question(s) in advance to a member of the town council and they will make sure your question is asked and that you receive a response. |
